Fashion in the genres of music

Now let us take a look at the dress code for some of the genres of music.. Not just for the red carpet because for the red carpet and for an award show, you have to look your best.

This is Hip-Hop clothing. This is considered very trendy, and "hip"(cool). Baggy jeans or track pants, a cap, sneakers, or stilletos..

This genre of music has taken over in so many ways, and it is evident that the clothing will have much influence as well.

Going back in time

Let us take a look at what people wore back then...

Dresses like these were worn in the 1950's, and today, they are very pretty summer dresses.

This is what was worn in the 70's, and guess what? You can see some of these outfits on the runway today. :-) Who would have thought?

Who do you think wore it best?

Vanessa Hudgens or Keke Palmer?

What do you think sells more today? talent or image? in the MUSIC industry, your music should sell more, but it seems like the image sells more. ( again.. this is just my opinion). A song doesnt even have to make sense for it to become an instant hit. it can even contradict itself... but no one really cares anymore, as long as it is danceable, and the artist makes money.

Disasters on the red carpet!

Here are some more no no's....
